Muddiest Point

Im still confused about the difference between the B cells and T cells

2 comments:

  1. There are 2 types of B cells-Humoral
    1. Memory: remembers antigen do next time it can produce antibodies faster
    2. Plasma: Produces ANTIBODIES

    T cells-cell mediated
    Destroys infected body cells

B cells also produce in the bone marrow. T cells are also produced in the bone marrow however they mature in the thymus.

  2. B-cell:
    -Recognize antigens
    -Remember antigens
    -produce antigens
-called B cells because they mature in the Bone marrow

    T-cell:
    -destroy infected cells
-called T cells because they mature in the Thymus
