my muddiest point is understanding antigens, i understand what they do but not how they do it.

Today the class started a new unit disease and immunity. the first thing that was done in class was we had our first disease of the day. todays disease was AIDS. we had a disscusion about disease and shortly disscussed AIDS. We talked about the spead of disease then watched a video about child bed fever, it showed how the a man realized that if you washed your hands you were less likely to spread disease.

One day I was thinking to myself what is a photon. Later my father introduced me to a book explaining this very subject the name of the book is SCHRODINGER'S KITTENS AND THE SEARCH FOR REALITY written by John Gribbin. In short the book explains different experiments, theories and questions about the sub atomic universe it turns out that everything that scientist thought the new about the sub atomic universe was completely wrong after a revolutionary experiment involving photons. It was always thought that photons were particles not waves but the experiment showed them to be both, the one which you saw at the end was determined by if you watched the experiment. I highly suggest reading it it is very interesting.
