Tagging 101

Tagging (also called labeling) is EXTREMELY important when using the blog. Here is why...

I can't give you a grade for your contributions if I can't find them... I can't find them if they are not tagged properly.

Here are the basics of how to tag...when you are done with the post, you will see a window underneath you post titled "Labels."  That is where your tags will go.  You MUST separate each different tag using a comma.  The following are the 3 things that EVERY post must be tagged.

1)  Your Name... NOT your full name.... just your first name followed by the first initial of your last (for example, mine is DeborahS)

2)  The type of post... here are a few we will use:
  • Scribe   (this tag will be used if your post is documenting what happened in class)
  • OnMyMind   (this tag will be used if you are sharing something with the class)
  • MuddiestPoint  (this tag will be used when you are explaining something that you don't understand)
3)  The unit of study we are in... choose from the following:
  • First Post
  • Nature of Science
  • Ecology
  • Cells
  • Immunity
  • Genetics
  • Reproduction
  • Evolution
  • Diversity
  • Plants
  • Digestion
  • Human Body
  • Fetal Pig
  • Behavior
