What Makes a Good Post?

A good post can be many different things... it really just depends on what it is that your post is trying to accomplish.  Here are my Top 6 Tips for making a good blog post.
  1. Be complete!  Explain yourself thoroughly and include details
  2. Find outside resources (website links, videos, pictures) to supplement what we are doing in class.
  3. Pictures!  Don't know how to add a picture???

TRUST ME!!! Press the little picture button and try to figure  it out.  Ask if you need help! Pictures from labs in class are essential!

4.  Add videos... a little more complex than pictures, but still not so bad... a few options.  The easiest is to EMBED from Youtube... but be sure you enter the embed code on the "Edit HTML" option and not "Compose" ... videos might take a little practice, but by the end of the year, you should all know how to do this!
 
5.  Organize your post... break it up into sections... make it 'user friendly'
 
6.  Use color, font size, and other tools to accent, organize, and put emphasis on parts of your post.
