The Point that I am mixing up a lot are the different names for the relationships of animals. I know that the 3 are called mutualism, parasitism, and commensalism, but I mix up which means which.
You are correct there are three types of relationships between organisms. Mutualism is one and it is when both organisms benefit. An example of this could be a bird riding on the back of a rhino, the rhino is moving to where it would like to go and the bird is getting a free ride. Parasitism is when one organism benefits and one is harmed. An example would be a tapeworm, the tapeworm is benefited by feeding off the body and the body is harm because it is loosing nutrients and food it needs. The last relationship is commenalism which is when one benefits and the other is not harmed. An example of this could be when the barnacles are stuck onto the whale.
