MattD's First post the next tallest building

The Burj Khalifa in Dubai is currently the worlds tallest tower at 2,700 feet but it won't be for long. In 2016 or around that Saudi arabia will begin work on the Kingdom tower, a massive building that will become the next tallest building in the world. It will be 3,281 feet tall. To compare this to something we all know this tower will be twice as tall as the sears tower. Kingdom tower will be in the middle of Jeddah wich is being redeveloped before the tower is built. the kingdom tower will cost 1.23 billion dollars and the whole project will be around 20 billion.

The tower was designed by Adrian Smith, a chicago architec who also designed the Burj Khalifa, and Gordon gill.

As you can see in the picture to the right there is a obsevation deck. The deck is about half way up the tower and will have a small resturant and a park in the center. Thats all I know for now.
