Muddiest Point-Patryk S

My muddiest point is what FSH, LH, Estrogen, Patrogen and what they trigger. Each hormone when released has a different effect and i dont know what the effects are.

  1. Alright, FSH stands for Follicle Stimulating Hormone. What it does is stimulates the ovary to make the follicle containing the egg. LH stands for Leutenizing Hormone. LH takes role moreso during ovulation. Once the follicle releases the egg, the LH tells the ovary to keep the corpus luteum in the ovary. Estrogen is released when the ovary makes the follicle with the egg and it helps thicken the uterine lining. The corpus luteum creates the progesterone, which keeps the lining of the uterus at a certain spot. LH will stop being made, which will make the corpus luteum disintegrate, which then will stop the production of progesterone, which then will make the uterine lining be shed (Period.) Hope this helped! If you have any other questions message me on facebook. -Joey
