Muddiest Point

My muddiest point for this section is that I am confused on the the difference of functions between progesterone and estrogen. I feel like they both do the same function, thicken the lining of the uterus.

  1. Estrogen and progesterone both cause a rise in hormones and inhibits the production of FSH and LH. However estrogen also helps additional follicles to develop during the follicular phase (progesterone doesn't).

    This information is mostly on page 992 and 993 in our textbooks...
