Muddiest Point

My muddiest point is the difference between the embryo, morula and blastocyst. Thanks!!

  1. Morula is the process where the zygote begins to divide and multiply into many cells.
A blastocyst is a cellular mass which forms early in the process of embryo development in mammals.
Embryos in animals refer to an early stage of development for the animal between the zygote (fertilized egg) stage and birth.

  2. Morula is the name of the embryo when it is a solid ball that is made up of 64 cells.
Blastocyst is the name of the embryo when it becomes a hollow ball of cells.
Embryo is a baby between the zygote and fetus stage. It becomes called a fetus after 8 weeks of development.
