There are 3 main phases in Interphase. They are G1, S, and G2. In G1, The cell grows, and proteins and organelles are synthesized. During S, the DNA is replicated and more new DNA is created. The DNA is doubled at the end of this phase. Then in G2, the cell is preparing for division, and the chromatids separate.
