My Muddiest Point

im still confused on the difference between ATP and ADP

  1. ATP is the chemical that cells want to use for energy by cells.

    ADP is a lower energy molecule that is found in cells. During CELLULAR RESPIRATION, mitochondria take ADP, energy (from glucose) and a phosphate group and FORM ATP.

    ATP can then be used by the cell to "power" all sorts of cellular processes.
