Muddiest Point- Sammy K

I'm kind of confused on what Chromatids and Chromatins are.

  1. Chromatin is a substance that is found in eukaryotic chromosomes that has DNA tightly coiled. It is the coiled up material inside the nucleus. Chromatids is one of the two identical "sister" parts of the duplicated chromosomes. This is usually found during the prophase step of mitosis. If you are still confused pages 280 and 282 contain more information on each of these terms. Hope this helped!
